These Guidelines establish the level of service that is expected to be delivered by service providers in line with the provisions established in these standards and the principles of services. The aim of this set of Regulatory Standards is to ensure that older persons receiving geriatric care services receive the best possible care and achieve the best possible outcomes. These Regulatory Standards define the responsibilities of residential and day care services towards older persons. Regulatory Standards will be available in Maltese and English versions once the Legal Notice is issued. These will be published on the Authority’s official website for public access.
